The Lee Loader looks like it would get very old, very fast, with the amount of time and effort involved in loading each round. Also, I fail to see how any ammuntion loaded with a hammer and a scoop...

That is the exact load I use for 162eldms in my 7mm08 SAUR100. I thought I'd try RL17 with the 162gr eldm to speed it up a bit.

Seems to me that that's the verdict that really matters.

Hi just caught up with this and yes that's all correct Tech . And man do I agree about the hearing. Nothing, but nothing, is worth it if it means damaging your hearing.

I used to wait for 3 or 4 firings before annealing but more recently I just anneal after every firing. Neck tension is more consistent and brass life way better. Have not seen any downside.

Sometimes it’s the small rifles that charm. I have a few Brnos and was scoping my model 5 yesterday. Forgot how nice these fit and feel. Nice stick of tiger stripe timber to boot. The other photo is...

Not for whilst hunting but I like to store my bolts unlocked, I saw a friend with a round piece of wood, maybe 50mm, with a 20mm hole in the centre and a 20mm slot that ran from centre to...

Thought I would start a thread about those little things we all have that makes life easier. I have been hunting with people and see something they have and think.....I’m going to get one of those!...

The biggest difference between them is that the EL and SLC are based on two different optical designs, and you may have a preference for one over the other. The EL incorporates field flattening...

sneeze it really depends what sort of hunting you do. I chase deer on places where some extra weight and carry size is not an issue. But hauling around Chamios country I think the 10 x 32 EL’s are...

I agree with MSL. Buy a stand alone pair of Binos. Technology in range finders is lightening fast. You will end up with an out dated pair in no time. I have the 10 x 42 EL’s and believe they are...

I have read 1000m with the Accolade LRF and that was a XQ50 But 800m is always and that extra bit depends on moisture in air I am guessing

I reckon the Swaro EL 10 x 32 are the perfect New Zealand compact bino. I have EL 10 x 42’s which are very nice but size and weight wise the 32’s are the answer and you lose nothing in magnification....
