You need to lube the base plug that makes the hollow base, Best practise is sit it on a hot plate and get it as hot as you can before you start casting it will cool down as you cast, at the start...

Try cleaning the threads with alcohol first they get lube all over them, If you only have one expander button then locktite it

Page from my 43rd edition lyman book. In their powder equivalents table ADI list AP 70n as being equivalent to unique and 4197 as approximating 2207 so you get the idea. It doesn't need a filler....

Look back through old Lyman manuals from the 60s, light loads 5 to 10 gr of shotgun powders, bullseye, unique etc no mention of case fillers. Trust the old timers on this.
