Personalised plates TAX 3
I been cheating on the RUC............... I pull the speedo cable out and then using my GPS I worked out the correct RPM in 4th for 50kph (1750rpm) and 100kph in 5th (2750rpm)
Put the cable back in...
Seen one road legal out of Temuka a month or so ago..............but I'll stick with my dirty old 'Lux any day!!
Weird alright!! Been thinking about this a wee bit - if someone was shooting these with a reasonable brand of off the shelf, high caliber hunting cartridge, that's about $500 worth of ammo and that's...
I like my Rossi Pumba but the open sights are crap plastic, I think I can get decent replacements but not cheap I think?
Yeah nah, they're crap mate. I got one for the .270 and got a better result using my eye. The cat loves it though - the Mrs does her tits when I get it up the curtains :D

I was just doing a couple of repairs to my Rossi this morning, and I thought I might address the "hollow" sound of the stock so I took off the recoil pad to assess the situation and found this steel...
Caught my first salmon tonight, first time fishing at the mouth too!! Quite stoked

Shouldn't do, pretty nice fit - only had to sand a wee bit so the bolt would close without binding up in the recess. Massive improvement on accuracy compared to SPS stock, so I haven't bothered to...
Not a .22, but the other day my son was having a shot at a dirt heap @ about 20m with the 44. He must have hit a rock as I saw the projectile go straight up in the air and landed on the ground 10...
I shoot a 270 for the open country, but.................if I'm heading somewhere strictly bush I take my Rossi .44mag - single shot, open sights, 22" barrel, Highland 240g pills hitting the A4 paper...
I like my stock so much I had too dress up my 870 to match - a handy combo!!

That's a bad stutter you've got there mate ;)
I recognize that useless fucka - the mob sent him down these ways a while back to do some standover / debt recovery work on an ex mobster. He was a bit younger then, thick as pigshit and lazy to...
Looks like you had fun alright JP. The shot at 2m.39 looks a little dodgy though - I doubt I would have taken it as the roo appears to be on the skyline with low cloud behind that?
Not trying to...
Go their website and type in your make, model, type of stock etc and they should have something to suit. Mines a long action, hinged floor plate. Awesome fit although when I bed it I will need to sand...
The new stock arrived today - $204 NZ  Feels awesome although a little heavier than I thought it might be. Off hand the targets dont seem to wobbly as much - can't wait to shoot it!!

I'll see if the Mrs is keen, sounds good :pacman:
Seriously though, cheers for your answers - that helped to clear that matter up a bit
I don't want to name names as I'm a bit of a gunshop whore - I get around them all :pacman: so anyway, I was looking around at shotguns not so long ago and I had a hold of a nice looking shotgun and...
I've got the same Weaver rings and bases on my 700 and that set up suits me pretty good
Thanks for your help guys - Kawhia's comments helped make my mind up, and I couldn't get my head around the firing pin thing, cheap screws etc, so I stuck with what I know and got a plain Jane but...
Winchester PP everytime - I haven't shot a .22 that doesn't like them
Watch this - I dont have the attention span
EDIT : Forgot the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDxr4R21yAg
Never mind a new shotgun - new stock for the .270 coming up!!
I'm thinking about a Varmint Thumbhole Boyds: VARMINT THUMBHOLE REMINGTON® 700 BDL LONG ACTION FACTORY BARREL CHANNEL NUTMEG LAMINATE...
