Strelok pro has the ability to adjust the click unit to anything you want.
I dont think Swaros are true inch per 100 or true MOA either.
We have primarily used the 55gn Hornady soft points, because the ,223 we have was a 'normal' twist.
These bullets do perform pretty well, and have seen stags and even one Bull tahr dropped with them...
Last re barrel i did was 900 bucks i think.
True flite has a reamer, from my understanding, so wont cost anymore than rebarreling any other rifle.
Already have a mint 303 that i can use as a 303...
Whats your final loads like??
Rough speeds? I was thinking AR2206H should be a good powder for one?

.223 vs grendel is not even comparable really.
We have both, used a .223 alot and pretty new the grendel(only maybe 20 animals) and its a night and day difference.
With most loads a grendel...
What velocities do you get roughly??
We have MK111s and MK4s in various states haha

Who here has played with any of the 303 wildcats??
Been on my mind for years, have a few beat up old 303s, and always wanted to make something different with them
At this stage I'm leaning into...
holy shit that awesome!! wheres the video?
welcome.
As far as I know peacocks are not really hunted that much here but im sure you could find some. buck shot or goose loads would work
its a 190gn bullet.in my mind thats a cannon haha.
are they the berger VLDs?
We have a Zigliani or high country suppressor on our rem mag. very good for noise and recoil.
BUT its heavy as a shit brick house and huge.
I dont like it. (I got out voted on the purchase haha)
Thats good. might look into one of them.
Im a fan of single compartment as well. makes for a lighter pack I think and you can keep all your things dry in one big pack liner.
America has SOO MUCH ...
I have the cover. I dont really believe in 100% water proof to be honest, there is no such thing.
I find the pack padding and straps soak up heaps of water when wearing it as well as the fabric.
...
shit yea thats the dream. but those animals are wild. not breed in pens.
do you use this with trekking poles? or does it come with poles?
Hey guys
Just wonder what packs you guys are using for multi day trips(not day bags) and what you like/not like about them.
I use either a macpac 80lt or an older model Elberstock just one .
...
mmmm maybe a couple of months. Bank has taken a bit of a hammering lately haha
How much roughly?
As allready said go to a shop and pick up a few guns. stock fit, shape and weight and things for you to decide what you like.
Id go for the Tikka any day of the week. but pretty much all new guns...
Im not a real coaster haha. only been down here about 6 months am from marlborough.
yep east coast hence the lack of rain and jungle steepness
Thats how it is at spey creek haha
Spey Creek Trophy Hunting New Zealand Red Stag Elk Hunts Kaikoura Lodge Deer Hunt Trophies Bow Rifle
same here. used mine for like 5 years. didnt cost a cent
haha not uncommon to see mobs of 20+. they breed just like goats
I once saw over 100 nannies(I counted to about 90 and gave up haha) in one mob on public land.
finding the bulls is a different...
nice one.
