I went to the range this morning to try out some 150 BT's loads and I put 3 subs through at the end at 100 yards (200gr makers) Its appears my barrel has sped up a bit now that its had about 70...
Rusa, sambar & sika also
I'm using 12.8g Trail boss in my sako 90 with a 1:7 twist. They doing about 1000 fps.
Yip Farm & Game are good, I use them. Might pay to ring them though to see when they open up again in the new year.
I got the same rifle with all the same specs! and yes the V2 does look smart on that rifle. I still have the mounting bracket on that rifle for the backlanz, only had that rifle out of the gun safe...
Yes we were very surprised too. Especially when he had just finished telling me how they have put a better spring in the new v2 models along with tightening up the tolerances to help eliminate some...
They wouldn't replace the springs in mine & my mates one's unless we paid for it! We both bought the bipods about a month or so before they brought out the newer version 2 model with the better...
Hit them in the middle of the shoulder with the creedmoor and 143 eld-x and they won't go far at all. 7mm08 & 140 grain core-lokt work very well on sambar also.
Has anyone got one of the new sako 90 adventures yet in a short action calibre? I after a measurement on the shock please if someone has one.
Thanks for that mate. We there 2nd- 9th March. I'll save a couple for ya if we there before you!
Have this block booked also March next year. Anyone know what the cell phone reception is like at Chew tobacco?
I had a scope come from The Optic Zone last week arrive in 6 days and that's to my rural delivery address!
I’ve compared them side by side a few times now with there standard and magnum suppressors and definitely Hardy’s are the quieter and nicer to shoot. I haven’t used Hardy’s stealth or there newer...
I've obviously got 'no f@%&!n idea' then as I roar all day long from the minute I leave the carpark or camp..
6.5 creedmoor shooting 143 eldx's
You still can buy & pay by American dollars, I just tried it then and it still works. This is how I buy all my Kuiu gear.
Are you sure about that Micky Duck? That doesn't seem right, I can't imagine the cost was anywhere near that 36 years ago. I had my big red done by Vern in Taupo in 2001 and that was only $700 then...
Hardy suppressor will fit and work good.
RL26
2550 out of my boys 20'' barrel T3x. Our hand loads are doing 2730 with the 143's.
I have worked out over the years that if the head is clean/fresh and only couple of days old it will always come out nice and white after boiling out. If the head is a week old and smelly or been...
Over the years I've heard & read plenty about the mainland herd being very low in numbers due to 1080, people shooting to many etc. I also know of plenty of north island hunters who have gone down...

All bush hunting those two blocks. Plenty of better blocks around if you are wanting to sit around all day and glass.
