does anyone reload 7mm08 150 eldx more than the hornady book length 2.8'' for tikka t3? i bought the t3x and the magazine can only fit 2.8'' max.

can't feel any weight difference between the two rifles, i'd grab the t3x lite if your planning to cut down to 16".

that troy charging handle knob is by way of screw in, lost it at first trip. feels a lot more spring than utas when reject and chambering. i ended up with the utas 1 moa all the time with belmont 77g...

if out for a goat shoot with a 223 and sees a deer i will pull the trigger, if 223 is the only gun then it's deer gun, but will i buy a 223 gun for deer hunt? no!

i have seen a guy shot out his tikka 243 barrel around 1000 rounds, dont think 223 is powerful enough, animals walk away and die unless head or neck shot.

my understanding is if it sparks it should bang, but a matter of slow or fast, sometimes under extreme cold even the lrp could not deliver the speed, thus the magnum is handy.

got one, 1 moa on belmont 70g sierra game king, and 62g hornady sp reload. barrel is 1/7. dosent shoot good with 22 conversion kit.

i happen to reload 6.5 crd using srp in peterson case, 100m producing 1/2 moa constantly. i am pretty confident they work well in 308. i want a longer lasting barrel but(not a meat killer), mild...

i understand what you meant, i dont have a problem with the current load and length, but recently obtained an O.A.L gauge and tried, found a huge difference in length, over 5mm compared to the book....

Does anyone load hornady 270 sst 130 for tikka? hornady load book says 2.8" overall length, how much difference could be for the actual chamber, can someone please give me details of their load...

thanks for the infos, had been loading the 270 but this round is not so friendly to my shoulder, thinking of switching to a more gentle round like the 308, will be nice if i could use the 2209.

does anyone load 308 with ar2209? website says 2209 is equivalent of win760. but cant find any data in 2209 for 308.
