    Wipe-out bore cleaner?

Been hearing a lot about this product on the American websites and the likes of ''best of the west'' etc...

Almost sounds too good to be true, but always a fool for a new product (yes I am a product whore) I'm keen to get my hands on some to see for myself.

    Questions:

Is anyone on here using it?
    Is it any good?
Where did you purchase it from?
Any other tricks or warnings I need to know about it?

    Cheers

    Don't think I'd bother again
Seem to work ok but wouldn't say it was super on copper

I tried a foam type cleaner after seeing it on one of Norway's video's. I don't think it is any better than my normal way but it is quicker for me - spray, leave it for 1/2hr - 2hrs. Wonder back run a couple of patches through it then, oil.

Just spray it in from the bolt end and it foams up filling the barrel. Let it sit, then clean out with patches.
Obviously have the barrel level or slightly muzzle down. No need to plug the ends.
Looks a lot like shaving foam actually.

I just found the foams really messy. Wipe out patch out is one of the few products I have found as good as everyone says it is!

I have used wipeout for several years, work great, had a .223 semi VQ that was badly copper fowled, patches came out almost back/blue to start and progressively got lighter and lighter blue. Three different cleaning and now shot way! better, mate wishes he hadn't sold it to me for FA now.
I think the big advantage is it wont corrode the bore if left in like many other copper removers. its also easy to see progress when cleaning.
I like it on my small centerfires .17 and .204 they tend to get a lot of rounds them them in a season and if the gopher shooting is hot, not cooled down correctly at times.
I get mine in Canada, never seen any in NZ.

Could you not just let it do its work then pour some boiling water down the tube to rinse it out then run a few patches through??? That'd be cleaner, surely.
