For a 15” barrel bush gun I’d say ditch the chronograph for now and revisit velocity once you have a pressure/accuracy combo you’re happy with.
When you have your process down and move on to the 7mm WSM, another way to do it (if you trust the speeds from your chronograph) is to look at the 10 shot load development where you plot/graph your increasing charge ladder.
It’s a very component efficient method and clearly points the velocity node where to concentrate load further development on.
Reloading isn’t rocket science nor is it magic voodoo.
