About LinkBacksYou can't top load the detachable mags. The earlier ones came with a Rem 700 style floorplate and you can easily swap out the detachable mag bottom metal with one of these if you prefer.
There is a lot to like for the price - mine has a great trigger for a factory rifle (better than the Timney on one of my other rifles) and feeds and shoots as expected.
