About LinkBacksThe stability issue is rubbish. An 18" 7/08 is great and can be used on everything close and out to 400 yards or so. 3k from 120's and 2.8K from 140's. Use 145's and 160's too if you want.
The difference between the 7/08 & 308 cut short is negligible. Don't hesitate, just do it and don't blind yourself with anxiety caused by people who own neither.
