    Shot my first with a .303 too, back in 1977. Ammo was some good old Forest Service modified military stuff. Mine came from the NZFS 'EF' (Environmental Forestry) workshop in Tremaine Ave in Palmerston North, where some poor sod used to get the task of drilling ex-military 174 gn solids to turn them into hollow points. They worked!
