Nice....EH6 or EH8 Ryan? I'm guessing EH8 looking at the pistol grip angle.

EH8. Nice stock, comes up very nice and has nice lines, was a bit worried the bergara bottom metal wouldn't fit (stock is inletted for generic rem700/defiance etc clones) but all fits like a glove. Will shoot it this arvo and decide if it's worth bedding or not

Did you weigh the factory stock? Interesting to see the difference. Im considering a build on a b14. They tick a lot of my boxes except the weight

Nah I haven't weighed it separately but it's a heavy bugger. Rifle feels much lighter now. The action/barrels are pretty solid on the B14 so they're not a super lightweight but damn I'm impressed for the money the action is like a rem700 clone with the upgraded features that a custom defiance etc offer (sako extractor and bolt release, coned bolt head for easy and reliable feeding, better primary extraction, solid half cock, WAY smoother than a lemmington, bolt is nicer to grab and use) but at a fraction of the price. And it shoots good

My "Cheap build with a simple point and shoot scope" has gotten a little bit out of hand. Bergara B14 Extreme in a Manners EH8, Talleys and Swaro Z5, Javelin bipod. Shoots the good old blue box stuff into tiny little groups and just starting to load develop with 155 Amax

Marlin 336 Dark 30-30 lever action, repurposed VX-6 1-6 CDS, Leupold QD rings and repurposed Oceania Defence can and cyclone brake which is shared with my Tikka .308.

I'll be working up a load eventually using those Hornady Lever Evolution projectiles which let you use pointed bullets in tube magazines and get the CDS dial made up for the VX6 to match that load.

Well as some of you might have noticed I been upgrading a bit of gear and putting it all on a bit of a diet, Sako's turn for a birthday.
Can't wait to get out and shoot it next week

Here’s my latest built for me by Terminator products.
T3 action, bartlein 1in 8 24” barrel, chambered in 7-300WSM, T2 break, fluted bolt, extended mag, timney trigger, Ken Henderson carbon tactical stock, 20 MOA Talley rail.
Pushing out 175 ELDxs at 3080.
Load development all done thanks again to Terminator products.
Need to find a decent scope.
