About LinkBacksCLP Breakfree is what I have used for years. Applied to either blued or stainless firearms, stored in my gun safes, even up to 2 years, has protected from rust. Living as I do in humid Auckland area I know if nothing is applied against rust it will appear given time. I also use it to swab cleaned bores for the same purpose when they will be stored for a while.
