Definitely agree with Tahr about throwing a suppressor on... but I would say that about pretty much any rifle.

Wonder if the synthetic stock is any good? The non accustock synthetics on the 11/16's I have handled were garbage. Bout as stiff as cooked cabbage. Stainless with that wood stock would be awesome

Cant decide if it is worth the extra coin over the many complete packages available like the howa's etc

Went and had a play with one in my local shop and it was a bloody nice rifle so i think i will get one, felt a little short to shoulder so Dougie must be a very little lady lol , thanks for all the help guys

New rifle should turn up tomorrow you dont seem to have any trouble knocking the animals over so i wouldnt worry about it

Bloody good on you @Tahr, always looking out for everyones best interests eh?

Took it out for a shoot today , has a reasonable kick and one ear is ringing like hell so i think it will be getting a can put on at some stage. Ended up with a 3 shot group of around 30mm and im sure it can do a lot better when i get used to it.

Don't forget ringing ear = permanent ear damage.

Hearing protection is always a good idea suppressed or not.

I had ear plugs in but one was obviously not in properly

FYI if you forget ear plugs at the range chewing gum works just as well
