    Ha, yeah I got a new scope with that rifle sale for another 223 I have. I do want to keep the 2-7 as a backup really

    I have been using a Redfield Revolution 3-9 which came on a 30-06 I bought. Seems nice and clear, Redfield are owned by Leupold, cost is around $400 new here.

    I figure what ever I buy will be switched to a different .223 when/if I upgrade from the single.
