    To start:
"Assault rifles" we don't have assault rifles which has selective fire - full auto and/or burst. MSSA is semi auto only.

"High calibre" 223/5.56 is a small calibre, intermediate cartridge. It's essentially the same calibre as the .22LR

"No one needs MSSA" professional pest control, 3 gun/multigun/service rifle shooters and any other fit n proper person who has legit use of the said firearms beg to differ. We could also argue no one needs a car that is capable of driving over 100 km/h and we should ban all those cars.
I have made this example many times. Imagine the uproar....

You have to have your Subaru / V8 / Turbo'd Vehicle listed on your 1E license endorsement. (1 is for normal cars and 1E is for sports cars) Also known as RSSC for Racing Style Sports Car

Because these sports cars are sought after by crims (See subaru theft etc) and are used in car chases with police (See note 1) they require additional security such as an alarmed steel shed with three locks on every door.

Only the driver that has this car attached to their license can use it. It cannot be lent or shared or left outside when not in use.

You require additional background checks to make sure you are a fit and proper person to own such a car.

Media and the general public hate you and want to ban your car because it will kill them and their children. They see no need to be able to drive such a vehicle.

It was designed for the race track and has no place on the road.

Having mag wheels added makes any car a sports type car. (Equivalent to a large capacity magazine)

Having fluffy dice or flames painted on the side makes it a sports type car. (Equivalent to having a pistol grip - makes no difference but looks aggressive)

Ooops, I may have put too much thought into this.....

Note 1; I refer to car chases as they are not pursuits. It is not the cp causing this, it is the fleeing driver....
