    MX Hill Climbs

Mix of footage from some riding over summer. Hill climbs and bush tracks. If dirt bikes are your thing then have a nosey.

Those sheep ruts can be real bastards. You have to play with your suspension a lot to get it right for those steep hill climbs, so you can carry as much speed as possible into the base of the hillclimb.

    Gearing down also helps.

A 3 hundy hangs in longer on those climbs too

Definitely. My last YZ250 was set up quite well for it. My rear end was kicking a bit much hitting that first climb at the base hence I wasnt carrying the speed I needed to get to the top. Ended up winding a 1/2 turn on high speed compression and that helped it out the next day. Gonna go from a 51 to a 52 rear sprocket on the rear when I next change them too.
