    ive been using a Kuiu Summit star, its around 600gms and around $450 mark,
    i was up the ruahines with it this weekend in the pouring rain and snow(i know im not smart sometimes) kept me and all my kit dry

    Used a Doit one man tent for a Fiordland fly tent trip . I wished Id had a different tent as the condensation was pretty bad and in the middle of a Fiordland storm the main pole broke. Didn't ruin the trip as I had a 2 man Fairydown tent as a base and a flysheet but pretty pissed off As it was a two day walk to get back to the base camp.
    Make sure your gear can handle the worst wether before you go.

    Did you get the whole set fly, inner, floor and pole or just the fly?
