With my MTN bipod I also got some of their short picatinny rails which I have fitted under the forends of my rifles. Swapping bipod only takes about 10 seconds.
As another said; the flex of the legs is advantageous. You don't preload these bipods hardly at all and the sligjt flex allows a s.ooth recoul with little or nil muzzle jump so long S you dont have a large drop at heel on your riflebutt.
