    Crispi Summit GTX

Looking at getting a decent pair of lightweight hunting boots and having been looking at the Summits, just wondering peoples thoughts and/or experience with them.

Have worn mine every day for a month hunting overseas in a wet swampy environment, i did cover them in the waterproofing stuff they come with before hand, they have not leaked yet... bloody awesome boot so far.

Awesome to hear do all pairs come with the waterproofing or was it in a gift set that you get when you buy them from the gearshop?

I assume so, got mine from a local sports shop and they were in the bottom of the box when opened.

Have been looking at these too, waiting for a special to come up. Wondering if theres much difference between the Summits vs Valdres? Just NI bush hunting for me.

Go with the Valdres if just NI bush. 3 good hunts done in mine and love them.

I’ve got the Valdres also but the toe cap has shrunk horrifically. Quite uncomfortable now but I’d say being 3yo they’re outside warranty. Interesting to hear how others like them.

Just bought a pair of valdres hopefully as good as my nevada legend gtx but the legends get heavy in wet conditions and not as much flex in the bush as i would like
so valdres from reading are more flexy and lighter

These look to be a good light weight option, a bit of a do everything boot for the NI

Keen to hear how they go!
