Yip i have both the over pants and top.

Veey light and both pack down quite small. I normally carry the jacket if there is a chance of rain.

Havnt used it much but been in some really shitty conditions in the open and stayed dry. Dundee looked like a drowned rat in gumboots that day

I have a Chugach NX jacket. I haven't seen a Yukon, but based on the Yukon gloves I have I would say that it would be quite a bit hardier than the Chugach. The Chugach is relatively light, packs up small, and seems to be very waterproof. I went with it over the Yukon mainly for weight savings. I would always carry it on the hill vs maybe leaving the Yukon behind. Most of my hunting is in open country (alpine), if I was more of a bush hobbit I would have the Yukon. I may still get one yet...
If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

My guide jacket is getting a good test at the moment.
Only thing I don't like about it is the zip is left handed.

    Fucking awesome aye!!
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Yeah not to bad. Not like a good puffer will. I am always wearing mine so doubt I will ever have it in a pack.
I am hating Kuiu at the moment.

Just another note. The vias cam pattern is perfect for west coast, rakaia or waimak type riverbed duck shooting.

I'm loving the Vias too. Great for stoney country like river beds. Trout fishing it's a great colour for stalking in Hawkes Bay.

Has anyone in Christchurch got the medium Yukon or a Chugach that I could possibly try on.
