Really like working with leather, it's a super satisfying material to work with.

    My current work in progress...
Thought I would try something different for this knife so after picking up some more leather offcuts I decided to go 'blingy' , with a nod to the kydex style sheaths.

So pancake style rather than my usual wrap around and getting bored with brown/black colour, my hunting clothes pretty much all green so why not thinks I.....

    I really like the results....
Still not finished yet , have to add belt loop which will probably also have torch holder built into it and have some different colour washers on the way, bit to much green maybe at mo, but like it enough might make matching belt pouches etc.
And as usual colour is patchy by design, almost black in places as didn't want it to bright.
Also the stone holder is it's own seperate sheath which bolts on, as will the belt loop as my usual style.

Frankly after writing that I'm amazed anything actually worked out as well as it did..!
This whole thing started when I couldn't find a sheath for my BK7 knife so decided to make one....Attachment 146322

    Thankyou.
Really it was just a big arse knife with big fat handle which gave plenty of room for some nice obvious wet molding and arty sleeve design. Tried the same on small/normal size knife and just didn't come off the same...looked odd

I really like that!. What a cool way to blend traditional and "tacticool" styles. The colored washers are a nice touch. Look forward to seeing finished product.

a little led lenser , forgot the model , but fed by a single aa battery . Just have it as a handy little backup/emergency light , but nice and easy to get to on sheath when can't be bothered digging around for head torch .

So been a busy couple weeks with the leather....

A Mercator pocket/belt sheath for a friend at work with titanium pocket/belt clip....

The knife I made the green sheath previous for the missus has claimed as her own but didn't like the green sheath style and wanted more like I usually made, so did a more traditional style but again used titanium belt clip so can put on belt or hang on bag.....

So the green sheath from earlier post is now a spare but liked the style so made a new one, the same idea as first , for my knife and being a modular design was able to replicate mounting points for stone holder and belt/torch holder and fit to new sheath instead...

I then decided to make a sheath for my Mercator which would sit sideways/horizontal on the dead space on front of knife belt but hopefully tuck in enough to not get in the way stepping uphill...and match green knife sheath...

    And on the belt...

Got a multi tool which I think will get the matching sheath treatment next....

That's some nice work @Ftx325. Always good to keep the missus happy. Do you mind if I ask where did you get the belt clips from?. They look like a good design.

Another Ali express find , along with the washers and screws (stainless no less , just chemically blackened) etc....all made and sold for kydex sheaths. Just search for something along those lines.

Something a little different. My watch strap perished and finally broke so I decided to make my own for my old faithful Casio. Along with a simple sleeve for my new phone
