    Courier company does it again.

I wait in all day for the delivery of a gun. No knock on the door. My wife gets home from work and says there is an obviously gun-shaped parcel on the doorstep!

Yet they won't let me get stuff sent to my work... Have to get it sent to my very understanding mate (and his awesome boss) at the gun shop.

Was the courier advised of the contents when dispatched?
Were they given explicit delivery instructions?
Did you communicate with them from your end?

It all makes a difference, 'cos they aren't mind readers, nor do they have xray vision.

Yes, they knew the contents and I would have thought that signed-for delivery would mean that you need a signature rather than just dumping it on a doorstep and hoping for the best.

As you have to fill out a form regarding the firearm, you would think they would know it was a firearm, not unusual for it to be left on the door step if a rural delivery, I heard of a very well known company who,s delivery of ammo was lost, it turned up at a bakery in the same town.

If a gun goes missing because of this, who is going to be responsible?
