I have had one for a few years now. Good little camera that takes good photos. My only gripe (which isn't the cameras fault) it that it is more complicated than I need. I have owned bigger zooms...

Good to see reviews like this and would be great to see more as shitty gear seems to be a bit of a problem across heaps of brands - cheap Chinese shit painted camo and being sold for big bucks (for...

jpurdon liked post by Southstag On thread : Access to doubtful tops?
Generally any bush ridge gives you easy access to the tops. The first long stream that you mention up the true right is easy going than push up a bush ridge once near the head. Deer will be anywhere...

I was waiting 22 months, so I went into the firearms office and had a chat. They gave me a number of the backlog team in Wtgn...once I called them I had my license in about 5 weeks. Still just shy of...

Might be a bit of a wait for it to get down to 100 cumecs. Its chugging at present, and seems to be a long protracted event this winter. Suggest you get hold of Prouts and fly in, or wait a few...

Ring Mesipotamia station a call 036963738 - they will be able to give you an update. They recommend not driving up if the Rangitata is flowing over 100cmecs (its currently flowing at 615cumes)

Agree with all the above posters. The Victorinox, Victory, Green river, Mercator, Bahco knives are good performers and cheap. You don't need to pay more to have functionality for hunting at all. ...

I slept under a rock over the weekend as it was too windy to pitch a fly. Got me wondering why I even bother with a fly when there is always plenty of good rocks around and I don't generally go out...
