There is only one way to see if your cleaning has worked and that's a borescope. These days, there is no excuse for not getting one as Teslongs are pretty cheap. They can actually save you money as in not wasting components trying to find a load when the real cause is fouling.
I ended up getting a cheap bore scope and yep, I've got a carbon build up just in front of the chamber. I'll have to get some autosol and find out how to do an abrasive clean.

That will cause a big pressure spike.

Just tried some 120 gr ELD-Xs in my 6.5x55. Was doing a load test and had 9 different loads, 3 rounds each.
The second load of 49gr of N560 pretty much keyholed the 3 rounds. And yeah I know, 5 round groups yada yada yada but still.

Sigh... now I'm gonna have to buy the 143s and try them. Anyone got any LRPs? :-)
