Thread: dpt suppressor disassembly help

There is/was a thread or two on this issue previously. I don’t think mk1 and mk2 baffles are interchangeable. To remove baffles, get two decent hose clamps. Wrap suppressor in (say) soft leather. Clamps then screw onto separate baffles. Using the bolt part of one clamp, fit it tightly in vice jaws. Using a drift or similar, tap the head of the other clamp bolt so as to undo thread. It works. Don’t clamp actual tube in vice or you’ll crush it. I put a fine smear of grease on baffle threads before reassembly. Secret is to disassemble can after every shoot and spray with crc or carb clean or…. Remember to re-grease threads.
