mate its a schrade finger skinner one of my very favourite bird blades .ihad on ebut inadvertantly left it in a goose carcasse which ended up with the eels . I still have the sheath but hunted high and low for new one zilch in NZ! made a very poor DIYimitation but not a touch on the original.
Shade Sharp Finger was the name that blade was sold under.

@kotuku check out svord amerikiwu knife..think that's spelt right. Looks very similar to your finger skinner but with funky svord handle,like on peasant knife. @turtleSO the svord Bowie isn't hugely different in handle and guard area,agree a thousand passes( or more) across oil stone would change shape that much.the once common sandstone wheels made for sheep shearing blades were awesome for getting knives sharp,but used too much will eat your blade away quickly.
