Good to see you out there doing it Beaker, you have been looking forward to this time away. Now some Rushy wisdom for you mate. On the plus side, the fish are already wet and your bloody skin is waterproof. On the negative side, the Raglan bar can be a bastard and it could be a bit rough out there and after two years you may have diminished sea leg abilities and could well lose your lunch overboard. Beaker is well used to rum and rocks (reference to drinking preference) and he trains for coping with swell every Thursday night (reference to scantily clad young lasses in his favourite watering hole. Out today with Dad and the Son.
Great conditions but fishing hard.
It was either sharks or juvinile snapper and cod or nothing.
I have never caught so many baby snapper...20-28cm snapper.....they seem to have taken over the spots we used to catch Terakihi years ago.
I sopos thats good?
15y ago you would never catch undersize snapper.
