This morning: one wait of 10 min then another of 8 min and he (they) answered.
Took 6 min to register a firearm that wasnt on the drop down list. I did have a draft entry set up already.
Sounds like they’re clearing a backlog.
yeah just waited 15 mins but nice young bloke and it was all easy friendly bugger and english was first language - some with my hearing and a solid Pakistani accent just cant understand them Spark especially bad - did point out lots of misinformation about ammo purchase
22min 22sec to advise of a sale of a firearm. 20mins was on hold. This was my 4th attempt at waiting on hold while still doing my day job. Nice young chap on other end, most pleasant.

Is there any other way to do a ownership transfer?
wouldnt you think with the IT etc available today you could just hop on the PC download the required FSA form(sale /purchase ) fill it in and email it back. FFS must be enough mouse munters in that place to enter it where it should go.my rego featured a SNAFU when the young las at their end politely informed me the only .303 they recognised was the Mk111 SMLE and what exactly was a 1943 no4mk1longbranch .303.
