@Pointer first solid coloured working pointers bred in NZ??

I dunno, define working? There's been plenty of blacks here. Ponsonby kennels had a working black bitch of Irish breeding. Show blood wise I understand there has been a few black Zuhraan dogs from Austraila of show breeding. Australia has had the solid coloured genes for over 110 years through the Lucknow line, goes back to a solid black dog that came from Scotland in 1905.

Cold out so dogs getting the warm glow from the fire

Same here, pooch is guarding the fire, think it has something to do with keeping warm

Both mine are in their kennel, but i did relent and let them inside for a couple of hours after tea.
