gsp you must be a glutton for punishment 2 gsps and a vizla
The GSP females can be hard work, the old one has always had a mind of her own and the young one learns off her when she would be better learning off the Vizsla male who is calm and laid back. Him and I, we often look at each other like "sheesh".
The old one points really well and very stylish, done some excellent work on pheasant in her younger days and when they were plentiful here. The young one points quail well but have struggled with her on the pheasant it has been difficult to even find any though last few weeks she has been getting some good practise in.

I've been doing the same Hillclima, getting some birds in before the season.

Really happy with this little dog, three coveys of brownies this morning, only had to drop him to flush once with the whistle the rest he just dropped himself. needs some shot for him now

This covey he found whilst working down wind, so he was pointing in my direction. Birds got up between us with me facing the dog

guess i should count myself lucky then mine to to pointing both easily
water retrieves in long and deep or cluttered up lakes ponds are his weak point.

Young one loves to swim but Sth Island water in my area clean and clear, so failed test when she had to go into a muddy pond with duckweed on the top. Ewww.
