    I recall using AP70N and AP100 before I sold my 44. Couldn't fit in enough Trail Boss to get anywhere close to 1000fps with Trail Boss.

    I think dannyb had the right idea with the 150 ELD-X. Bullets in that weight range offer a good balance of speed, mass, and BC for the 7mm08.

    Those are their stated purposes as per Hornady, yes. The M's certain don't bounce off of deer though. They're both jacketed hollowpoints with polymer tips when you cross section them.
