    Wicked, that good velocity.

I'm working up a similar load, so will interesting to play with once my rifle is back.

After a five year absence I have just rejoined the 223 club. Some hasty load development was done (with powder I had and projectiles I could find) and I took it out this morning for its hunt.

Yeah. Very happy with it in the short time I have had it.
Scope is a VX3HD 3.5-10 x 40 ZL2 with twilight hunter reticule. Might yet swap out my VX5 3-15 that is on my 308 depending on how I end up using it.

All this talk of .223 and seeing how effective they are on deer with the heavier pills has got me wanting to scratch an itch. Shot many deer over the years with .223 but it was a 1/12 and always run it with 55gr core-lokt, didnt handload. Did the job but i have to say im pretty impressed seeing the terminal performance some of you are getting with loading some of the heavier pills.

I enjoy needing to be that little bit more precise and the calibers' precision. And its great using something that is not obnoxious.
