    Recommend? Yes.
I'v had my *Colt* (which is essentially the same gun as yours) for about 2 years. Shot around 1300 rounds of CCI standard and CCI Mini Mags with ZERO malfunctions which is saying something. Considering semi-auto .22's can be a bit finicky with ammo and having the odd jam, I have been highly impressed with this rifle.

Shits all over my enhanced Ruger 10/22 I used to own. Mine is very accurate too. Gotta love German quality.

    Thanks.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Mrs did not enjoy shooting this at all. I was surprised she managed to shoot 4 rounds out of this cannon. The rifle weighs 2.4kg so the recoil from it is absolutely massive. Has a soft recoil pad though but still, even gives me the heeby jeebiez.

Sasquatch, I didn't know NZ had populations of feral elephant! I'm picking that is not your traditional bunny-rifle.

    Come on guys it's only a 45-70 isn't it ?

Perfectly sensible caliber for NZ bush hunting

Just think of it as America's version of the 308 only twice the age
