Not that light man pretty hefty barrel. Recoil is not bad at all, good straight stock with a decently high comb. Felt Recoil is low for a 308

Yes to me it does have a bit, as you say very light rifle, nothing to them
Suppressor makes it way better to shoot IMHO & it does have a good recoil pad

Definitely had some kick, probably similar or a bit less than my Brno, but more muzzle lift, noise, and flame! The guys watching were having a laugh.
The suppressor calmed it down a lot both in noise and recoil.

    Which loctite do you recommend.

Latest effort with the Bergara, very much improved on the first.
Better prone firing position, much more dry practice on that trigger & 50 odd rounds.
Best couple of groups of the session at 100m with Federal 175g best, followed by Winchester & last some milsurp which was 4" roughly.
Also managed to bang some steel plates out to 300m(roughly slightly taller than IPSC) & in some strong crosswinds.

I'm assuming this is a .308, if so try Hornady Amax Black 168gr - I went through quite a few different factory combinations before trying that and it just loved it.

Heres a M40A5 clone, well kind of...
    Scope is new.
Barrel profile & rifling is M40 correct, as are rings & DBM. Stock has incorrect cheek riser otherwise correct, and i went for a more practicle Surefire break.
    Bipod & podlock M40 correct.
