As an aside; I bought directly from Victory for $25 ($10 cheaper than anywhere else) plus $9,99 postage and overnight delivery.... It was delivered the following morning in a nice cardboard Victory box. Gotta give kudos for good service when it is deserved. It was only a single knife order; not an abattoir/freezing works big order

The latest knife just finished, A Mamba in 1084 high carbon. Hybrid timber and pearlescent resin handles out of the Ukraine ( god knows how my supplier of this handle material is getting on now ).
G10 pins, liners . Full grind . Off to a collector and his pool room apparently.... too pretty to use ??Name: Kunac.jpg

Duncan mate you are cracking along! I’m loving seeing your work, keep it up! I’m stoked to have one of your early knives, though sadly hasn’t been used in a while! I still get it out and admire it occasionally haha

Hi mate, thanks for the kind words. It's been a interesting journey of both learning new skills and developing a style that is unique or recognisable to my knives.
I have been very fortunate to have John Worthington mentoring me and that has accelerated the learning curve.
However saying that it still comes down to time on the grinder and time in my tiny workspace putting things together.
I am wrapped you have one of my early knives and are enjoying it. The forum members have been very supportive and generous making orders.
Keep an eye out as there are more knives to come.
All the best , Viper / Duncan

Pretty much a newy here, made few rough knives and axes from crosscut saw blades ( no where near the skill of you blokes ) but I usually modify some existing piece to get what I'm after and I do a bit of leather work......anywho, here's a bit of show and tell.......sorry about the poor pics

Made this for a mate at work.

...modified my Schade Old Timer to a better blade shape...

For the old chook across the road...
    And some in progress stuff

and finally a bit of general leather work

That's some nice work mate. There is a thread "playing with leather " you might like to check out.

    Mamba hunter in 12C27 stainless.
Latest one off the bench and away for the Roar. Different type of finish , more of a satin look.
Lime green Juma, stabilized Maple and Black / Purple Acrylic. G10 liners and pins and my first use of a Mosaic pin.

    Chapess using a chap's knife
Fully skinned my first beast today, no help from the other half.

A lamb shot by Mr H. I forbid him to skin them because he makes a shocking job of it and I can't use the hides for anything. He does gut them thankfully.
Knife is a fake cold steel AD10. As is usual in our house, he saw it on Ali Express for $65.00 delivered so purchased it. He thought it was real so was getting a bargain but then saw the real thing for $339.00 here in New Zealand and realised it was fake.

Now I don't care what a knife looks or feels like normally, despite Mr H's excitement about any hunting tool I normally just say "that's nice dear" and carry on. But I tried this fake, and Wow! Bazinga! I'm sold! It feels lovely in my hand and you can't kill it! So good and sharp. I watched a video of a couple of Dutch boys, on DBK, trying to destroy one and they couldn't!
    Totally recommend it.

Early first model Luftwaffe Dagger. Not my usual interest at all but interesting just the same.
