Wirehunt, this is how it is...those whose genetic memory seeks them to surround themselves with dawgs of the Old Country i.e settery and pointery type races cannot face the thought of Pointering and Settering after the coonie...nay, nay...these dogs are the dogs of GENTRY, OFFICERS AND THE LIKE...not for them the coonie...so these dogs were hunted on the Moors and still are...after the enigmatic and noble GROUSE...we with our little continental poachers dogs, must tug at ones forelock in supplication to those with the majestics...heheheheheheheheheheheheeeeeeee, they might be from the great grouse moors, but some of us have real hunting dogs from the woodcock forest...in conclusion, the PURISTS simply cannot allow their dogs to run the coonie...a grouse dog hunting the rabbit...alors, Man!!!!
