Keeping the trend of pack questions going. Anyone using a simple roll top style pack in the 20-30L range for a day pack? They seem nice and simple, lightweight, waterproof and pack down real small...

Hi all, just wondering what you use for a car camping cooker. Any such thing as a twin burner for two pots or pans with the option for a hot plate to convert to a bbq style?
Cheers
The Zempire is a nice little tent, good waterproof ratings for its price. Doesnt have much of a vestibule which is it's only downside.
My accuracy increases (relative to MOA) with my Sako85 at longer ranges, although i think its because at 500m im really focused mentally on shooting good but at 100m im complacent and my mind wanders.

Hey, Anyone know what the size specs are for the set screws used on a VX3i CDS turret? There’s three of them which hold the turret on.
Cheers

I bought a VX3i in Canada and bought it back in my check in. No questions asked when I came in to NZ. That was Christmas last year though.....

Only had it a short time but it shoots good from the last few range sessions
Got bored today on baby duties so whipped out the old lady’s sewing machine and made a field cover for my rifle. $20 of materials from Spotlight. Used waterproof oxford nylon on the outside and soft...
Anyone ever seen pants that are waterproof below the knee? Always thought that they would be good for early morning walks through long wet grass....could do away with the gaiters too if the pants had...

Anyone got any experience with Tarptent tents?
Im looking at the StratoSpire 1 or 2 (probably 2).
Purpose for tent is Canterbury tops hunting. Needs to hold up well in the wind/rain. Wont be...
Yea that’s a fair as point about the targets Chris.
Btw my 6.5cm Finn II is a tack driver every time.
I’m curious to know how the rifle passed it’s testing at the factory?
Isn’t the whole point of the factory test to ensure that it’s shooting at moa?
I remember an old howa I had where the test...
I think its obvious that everyone has figured out their own way of layering, people run at different temps so one size doesn't fit all.
In my opinion start with some cheap or even second hand...
For general Canterbury conditions I find the following works for me, pretty simple
Summer
1. Merino base layer for day and walking
2. Merino base layer + Fleece for evening and glassing
3....
